Here comes the sun..

My Husband said if I had a season then Summer would be it. I LOVE clothes so much more during the summer. I think it reminds me of childhood memories. Waking up and throwing on your swimsuit, favorite pair of cut offs and t-shirt and then quickly throwing your hair in a pony tail. You couldn't go wrong.  And there is something to be said for Sunny days. The smell of sunscreen and citrus in the air, long dips in the pool, and sticky fingers covered in popsicle juice.  As an adult (and a Mom) its not quite so care free but the concept is the same. You don't have to over-do it. Its best to keep it simple with your clothes during the summer.  Frankly here in Arizona its too dang Hot to try too many layers anyways. The short is a must during the summer. Especially here when it gets in the 100's outside.  No matter what size and shape there are shorts out there for you. Personally I  Love all the fun bermuda and longer length shorts that are everywhere right now. And the colors this season..oh the colors!

Dinner is Dinner..

Tyden has been put on a new shift at work and so he leaves for work around 3pm everyday. I really miss sitting down and eating a good meal with him. And so we decided to start eating Dinner at lunchtime. I Love it. I set the table and make dinner and we just sit and talk and watch Barrett make a mess with his food. The upside is also that I have more energy during the afternoon than I do in the evenings so cooking is all around easier to do. And for dinner I can just make a quick meal for me and Barrett like I would normally do for the lunch meal. There is something to be said for good food, good people, and a little hand me down table that serves it purpose.

Get out Much?

Well its only been...5..7.. 8 Months since I last posted. But Ive been cooking up another little guy and he has worn me out! Nesting has thankfully hit and Im motivated and ready to get up and going again. Im due with our second little boy in 4 weeks and I cannot wait!

November 1ST

Hi Guys! I am so excited to be back and have the blog up and running after the past two weeks of crazyness. I have everything back up and running so Im excited for all the new November posts that are coming up. I LOVE Halloween but I am so glad October is over and November is here. Now I just have to take down all the Halloween decorations......Can you hear me groaning? If you havent seen my post of my Closet Cleaning excursion a few months ago check it out here. Ive been fall shopping the past few weeks and I have been so excited to put away all my Summer clothes and take out all my Fall & Winter clothes. I have forced myself not to pull any of it out until at least November 1st. I know it is snowing in Colorado but here in Good old Arizona the weather is just starting to cool down and starbucks has just barely brought out their Caramel Apple Cider. If you havent ever tried this.. YOU MUST!  It is the best Fall drink..oh Yummy... my mouth is watering. I cant wait to have my first of the season.
So organizing my closet is what I will be doing today.  I already organized my closet a few months ago but there is no need to have swimsuits and summer dresses taking up space in my closet when they wont be used much during the next 5 months or so. Barrett isn't quite as Happy about Winter clothes as Mommy

Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween! It was a long but fun night. I did my neice and 7 of her friends makeup for Halloween last night. 3 hours later and they looked like Marionette Dolls. They were Gorgeous and it was so fun. The hubby kept Barrett entertained on the driveway while all the trick or treaters came by and then we got to watch some cartoons and head to bed. Im not sure how it happened butI managed to not eat a single piece of candy. It was a Halloween miracle :)

We had a Halloween Party and Me and the Hubby went as ourselves...just sixty years from now :)
