Jennifer Aniston Makeup Look

Jennifer Aniston..Sigh.
The hair, the face, the body, the age (she is in her 40's and can make 20 yr olds jealous). What's not to Love? My first real haircut as a teenager was totally the Jennifer Aniston "Friends" Haircut. I was just reading in a magazine that her haircut from that show is still to this day the most requested haircut at a salon. Well I decided to do a makeup look from this gorgeous picture of her. Her look is always a great tan, shimmery eyes, and a flushed cheeks. The perfect Girl next door.

First start out with a moisturized face. Any facial moisturizer will do. I Love Philosophies line. But I am trying out Benefits Triple Performing facial emulsion with SPF today. 

Next apply a primer. I got this great sample and figured today was the perfect time to use it. (samples are great when deciding if you want to buy a product or not). Jennifer has that great bronzy skin and Stilas One Step Primecolor in Bronze babe is perfect. It gave my skin a healthy tan glow and prepped it for foundation.

Now apply a Foundation. Jennifer has gorgeous skin and it always looks like she has such a dewy flawless face. I Love M.A.C's Studio Moisture tint with spf because it covers up imperfections but it is such a lightweight foundation. It is basically lotion and foundation mixed :)

Next I apply an eyelid primer. I think it's important to always wear primer. It makes your eye makeup last, not smudge, and it really brings out the color of the eyeshadow. Urban Decay's eye primer potion is a cult favorite.

Now I apply my shadow. I am wearing Bermuda Sand by ULTA on my eyelid, Blanc Type by M.A.C on my brow bone, and Nude by Smashbox and Bamboo by M.A.C in my crease.

Next apply a Black eyeliner on top and bottom of your eyelids and smudge so there is not a defined line. Im using Urban Decays eyeliner in Zero

Now curl your eyelashes and apply mascara on top and bottom. Im wearing Voluminous Carbon Black by Loreal. 

Jennifer has full natural brows so I filled my in with Benefits Browzings brow shaping kit.

Now for her tan sunkissed complexion I use a Bronzer from M.A.C  in Refined Gold. Apply to temples, around jawline, top of cheek bone and forehead.

For those gorgeous summer flushed cheeks I love Nars Blush in orgasm. It is a pretty salmon color with loads of bronze shimmer. GORGEOUS! It looks great on everyone.

Next apply some highlights to your face. I use M.A.C's cream colour base in Luna. It is a frosty cream color that just highlights wherever you put it. I apply it down the center of the nose and high cheek bones.

The look would not be complete without those gorgeous full Pink lips. Im using Nars lipgloss in Super Orgasm. It is a beautiful Salmon pink color with loads of shimmer. I already have pink lips so im not using a lipstick but if you want a more pronounced lip just use a lipstick then a gloss.

When in Doubt wear lipstick

I've always thought my best feature on my face was my eyes. Therefore Ive usually focused on them when doing makeup and just slapped on some nude or beige color lipgloss. Dont get me wrong I love a good lip and I often use some beautiful bold colors on others when doing makeup. But for myself I usually dont. With all the new gorgeous fall colors in lipsticks coming out right now I decided to buy myself an Urban Decay lipstick yesterday in the color Gash. Can lipstick change your life? It just Might. I put it on in the store and loved it. Tip: Dont EVER EVER EVER ever ever ever buy a lipstick without trying it on. It's a waste of time and money. Sometimes the colors you would never pick up are the ones that look the best on you. I promise you the sales ladies want you to try makeup on. They arent looking at you like your lame. When I got home the hubby said "Your lips are Pink" (well a deep berry but you cant blame a male for that kinda mistake) I took it as a compliment since he doesnt notice those kinds of things.  Plus hubby is finding he has a love for berry colored kisses on his face :) Score one for the wife.

A good tip when wearing a richly hued lipstick is to wear minimal makeup on the rest of your face. I used a shimmering nude color on my eyelids and did cat eyes with a black cream liner and mascara.

DIY Microdermabrasion Mask

With Winter setting in soon, it's nice to slough away that dead dry skin the summer has caused your poor face to cope with. This is an easy and cheap way to get your face glowing fresh and new. All you need to do is mix about 6 tablespoons of baking soda and two tablespoons of water until is forms a paste. Apply it in circular motion all over your face and neck taking care to not get it in your eyes & Rinse. You can do this about once a week and you will see results right away.

Nars Lipgloss - This product was made famous by Kim Kardashian in the Turkish Delight Color. My favorite color and the color shown here is Super Orgasm...interesting choice of name. These glosses are super pigmented and dont need a lipstick. Thick but not sticky.

My all time FAVORITE! This is MAC Plushglass in the color fulfilled. This salmon toned sheer lipgloss looks good on everyone. Non-sticky, moisturizing, and plumper in one.

I Love this lipgloss. It is smooth and not tacky. It makes your lips tingle and it seriously lasts all day on your lips. It comes in tons of colors. My favorites are Amber & Samantha

Victorias Secret $7

Beauty Rush soothing lip balm. This is by far my favorite lip balm on the market. It has peppermint oil in it and it makes your lips look gorgeous! I hate that in comes in this metal can because it can get hard to open but it doesn't stop me from buying it. My favorite color is the original clear.

NYX $5.49

NYX high shine lip gloss. This is a great cheap lip gloss. It can be found at ulta and comes in a gazillion colors. My favorites are Beige & Pink Frost (as shown)

MAC Viva Glam Ga Ga Lipglass $14.50

This lipglass is from MAC's Lady GaGa collection. The color is GaGa 2 and is a light sandy neutral. It's a GREAT nuetral color and i love to layer it over bright lipsticks to tone them down. Creates perfect neutral lips that go great with a smoky eye. Smooth and creamy.

Urban Decay $19

Urban Decay Pocket Rocket Lip Gloss. My favorite thing about this lipgloss is the applicator. It's a smooth brush and i feel like Im painting my puckers :) Each tube has a different hunky man on it. LOL My husband isnt thrilled about that but is pacified because the man on my favorite color looks like him :) My favorite color is Kirk.

Burt's Bees $2.99

I have about ten tubes of this Original Burt's Bees chapstick. Even my husband wears it. It is minty, conditioning & moisturizing. Im OBSESSED I tell you, Obsessed! I put it on before I do any lipgloss or lipstick when im doing my makeup.

Best Foundation EVER Review

Mac Studio Moisture Tint $30

I get asked all the time what my favorite go-to foundation is and here it is ladies.... MAC's Studio Moisture Tint with SPF. This foundation is so amazing I cant even find a better word for it. I apply it with the cheapest tool out there..My hands! If you like a one step makeup routine this is it for ya. It is a light weight moisturizer that has tint to it. I wear it every single day. It covers nicely but if I am breaking out i just apply a concealer beforehand. It is perfect for teenagers, Young women, and older women. It also has SPF in it so it will help against those harsh rays.  It is a nice big tube and should last you 4-6 months if you use it every day. I cant say enough good things about this product!

Fall-in Love Nails

I am Loving this new nail color by MAC called "Hangin loose". It's a beautiful creamy taupe color that is perfect for fall and will go with everything. Even my husband commented on it. Score!

5 Minute Quick Bronze Face

Apply light foundation with moisturizer in it  ( Im obsessed with MACs Studio Moisture Tint with SPF in Medium) all over face. Apply with fingers for natural finish.
With a tapered brush ( I use MACs 168 brush) apply bronzer to hollows under cheek bones. You dont need much. Apply in upward sweeping motions. Really mix it in. Apply bronzer anywhere the sun would tan you. ( I really like NARS Laguna bronzer) Forehead, sides of noses, cheek bones, etc. Use a teal eyeliner (I'm using MACs Blue Noon) and line the top eyelid as close to lash line as possible. Sweep a salmon, copper, or bronze eyeshadow on eyelid under crease and a quick sweep under lower eyelashes. Curl your eyelashes and apply favorite mascara (I'm using MACs Opulash in Bad, Bad, Black).  Apply a peach based or clear gloss to lips with mega moisturizers for this summer heat and Bang! That's it!
